We are proud to announce that next July 27-29, 2012, Master Malee Khow and Malee’s School will be organizing a series of Chinese martial arts events at the University of New Haven in Connecticut.

2012 USAWKF National Championships

This event bring the best wushu competitors from around the country in an open tournament, vying for the gold in standard competition events such as long fist, taijiquan, southern boxing, and sanshou (full contact sparring).

Master Malee hosted the Nationals in 2005 and 2008 as well.

4th New England International Chinese Martial Arts Championships

The best competitors from all around the world compete in external and internal styles, weapons, group forms, push hands, and light contact sparring.

Master Malee organized the three previous championships in 1999, 2002, and 2008.

USAWKF Junior Team Trials

Wushu athletes under the age of 18 compete for a spot on the U.S. Junior Team, which will compete at the 4th World Junior Wushu Championships later in the year.

Master Malee hosted the junior trials in 2008 and the adult team trials in 2005.

USAWKF Instructors and Judges Examination Course

This course, taught by top professors from China, will review the materials expected of an wushu instructor and judge prior to an examination. Students who pass the examination will be certified as USAWKF National Instructors and Judges and be eligible for the international examination course run by the International Wushu Federation.
